You will meet with one of our providers at Golden Aesthetics Medspa to discuss your medical history and any symptoms you are experiencing.  A blood test will then be ordered from the lab of your choice, and the results will be sent to our provider.  After reviewing the results of the blood test our provider will discuss these results with you via phone and if you are a candidate, a customized prescription for pellets will be ordered for you and an appointment will be scheduled for the pellet insertion at our facility.

Pellet Insertion Process

Implanting hormone pellets is a simple and relatively painless procedure performed under local anesthesia to “numb” the skin. The BHRT pellets are inserted in the upper buttocks by an experienced healthcare provider at Golden Aesthetics Medspa, through a small incision. Your healthcare provider will determine the correct dosage of hormones to use, as evident by results from a blood test. You will be provided with aftercare instructions for your incision and you may resume normal activities after the insertion.
